With “About A Silent Way”, Martux_M returned to jazz after many years, but from a different perspective. The album is an electronic reinterpretation of Miles Davis’ iconic work. While reading his biography, Martux_M was struck by the phrase: “I have to constantly change, it’s a curse”, which led him to reinterpret those compositions as if Miles were playing them today alongside artists like Jeff Mills or Carl Craig.
