A collaborative project with Giulio Maresca, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, unfolds as a complete audiovisual experience. Featuring archival images from the Istituto Luce and the Italian Space Agency curated by Bruno Palma, the project premiered live on New Year’s Eve at the Festa di Roma.
The album itself embodies an electronic psychedelia, offering a musical odyssey that narrates the various stages of the Apollo 11 mission. From the departure in the opening track “Lift Off” to the return to Earth depicted in “Return,” the journey traverses the diverse realms of electronic music. Techno, dub, and ambient elements intermingle with melodic psychedelia, encapsulating the essence of the historic voyage.
